Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Apparently healthy age 40-65 years BMI 18-30 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diabetes Condition causing delayed gastric empting allergy to milk protein Medication use which causes delayed gastric emptying

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main study parameter will be the gastric emptying time of the exposure beverage. This will be determined by measuring 13CO2 breath content (each 15 minutes) and antral ultrasonography measurements (each 30 minutes) during the 3 hour observation period after beverage ingestion.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Subjects will fill in a questionnaire to find out about the drink palatability and their experiences with the measurements. They will be able to rate their feelings via a visual analogue scale.
