| Shoulder function as measured with the CMS during physical examination. The physical examination will be performed by the examiner (H.Geerdink). CMS: Constant Murley Score (scale 0-100) This scoring system consists of four variables that are used to assess the function of the shoulder. The right and left shoulder are assessed separately. The subjective variables are pain and ADL (sleep, work, recreation / sport) which give a total of 35 points. The objective variables are range of motion and strength which give a total of 65 points. The CMS will be evaluated of both shoulders. | — |

| Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) - All proms used in this study are enclosed with the protocol. DASH: Disability of arm, shoulder and hand score. (scale 0-100) The Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) Outcome Measure is a 30-item, self-report questionnaire designed to measure physical function and symptoms in patients with any or several musculoskeletal disorders of the upper limb. The questionnaire was designed to help describe the disability experienced by people with upper-limb disorders and also to monitor changes in symptoms and function over time. Testing has shown that the DASH performs well in both these roles. It gives clinicians and researchers the advantage of having a single, reliable instrument that can be used to assess any or all joints in the upper extremity. OSS: Oxford Shoulder Score. (0-48) Questionnaire comprising 12 questions (5 point score) focused on the problems of the shoulder during the last 6 months, 3 months and 4 weeks. The questions are multiple choice, five answers for each question are possible. Starts with which is the affected shoulder. EQ-5D - Quality of Life The generic effects on quality of life will be assessed with the Euroqol (EQ5D). This widely used quality-of-life instrument includes five dimensions of health related quality of life, namely mobility, self-care, daily activities, pain/discomfort, and depression/anxiety. These five dimensions will be combined into a health state. Patient satisfaction results. Four questions asks about satisfaction regarding the cosmetic results of the operation and investigate the awareness of any cosmetic deformity of the upper arm, using a Global Rating Scale. Cosmetic Appearance / Popeye effect Subjective: Assessment of cosmetic appearance on a VAS scale (0 - 10) by the patient. Objective: Assessment of cosmetic appearance on a VAS scale (0 - 10) and *popeye sign* (yes/no) on digital camera pictures by a blinded, independent, assessor. E | — |
