Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| We will assess the difference in performance (i.e. error rates and reaction times) and brain activity and connectivity (using fMRI) in prefrontal cortex control (i.e. attentional bias to food-related words and negatively valenced words), and striatum (i.e. food and monetary reward cue responses) before versus after training, dependent on training type. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Secondarily, we will obtain weight and waist-hip ratio measurements and questionnaire data at every lab visit (incl. 1-year follow-up) to assess the effects of the training on weight and eating behaviour and general reward sensitivity.. | — |
