| Incidence of intra-abdominal hypertension and the abdominal compartment syndroom in high risk patients. Relation of certain markers (I-FABP, L-FABP, claudin and citruline) to intra-abdominal pressure and presence of bowel ischaemia. Relation of certain markers (NGAL in serum and urine) to intra-abdominal pressure and presence of acute kidney injury. Outcome of patients with intra-abdominal hypertension and abdominal compartment syndrome with regard to mortality, incidence of bowel ischaemia, renal replacement therapy (temporary/permanent), surgical procedures, length of ICU stay, days of ventilation, days on inotropes, number of patients with persistent open abdomen. | — |
