Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusioncriteria are: -80 years or older -65 years or older and one or more of the following criteria: * dehydratie in the past * heartpatient * muscle disease or rheumatism * negative score on the GFI (Groningen Frailty Indicator, conducted before the study)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exlusioncriteria are: -Persons, who don't master the language (read or onderstand), because it is necessary to answer questions on the questionnaire and participate. -Persons, who dont'n seem to be able to use the drink reminder device -bladder or kidney disease -dementia or Alzheimer

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main parameter is the daily fluid take (the amount of daily used cups/glases). The change in the main total score of the fluid intake of the 2 groups will be compared. The difference between the 2 groups in percentage of elderly who 's fluid intake is adequat after the intervention will als be studied.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The other parameters are level of knowledge and awareness and quality of life. The scores on the knowledge and awareness questions and on the EuroQolindex (score on the EuroQol-questionnaire) before and after the interventions are compared.
