Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with papillary thyroid cancer, stage T1-3N0-1M0 2. Patient planned for total thyroidectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. T4 or M1 tumours 2. Patients with differentiated thyroid cancer other than papillary or follicular variant of papillary thyroid cancer (= follicular thyroid cancer, Hurthle cell carcinoma or tall cell carcinoma) 3. Incapacitated patients 4. Pregnant patients 5. Patients with detectable Tg antibodies at 1 year follow-up will be excluded for analysis 6. Contrast enhanced CT performed
