An eight-week home-based exercise strategy will be offered to patients after
their discharge from the hospital. This home-based exercise strategy will

Age
18 Years to 99 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - aged between 55 and 75 years - living independent - waiting for a total hip arthroplasty at the Martini Hospital - living less than 15 kilometers from the hospital
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - a revision operation - severe comorbidity that influence mobility - cognitive disabilities - not able to understand or read the Dutch exercise instructions
