Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy right-handed persons aged 18-65 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who suffer from specific neurological or psychiatric disorders will be excluded. Subject who cannot go in the MRI scanner are also excluded. Also, subjects who are right-handed, but draw with their left hand are excluded.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Localization of condition-related increase of cerebral activations in the ventral and dorsal premotor cortex. This is caused by the detection of differences in (hemodynamic) BOLD responses, based on a comparison in subjects (left-right) and between the different experimental conditions.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Size of handwriting in millimeters will be measured. With EMG proximal and distal movements will be quantified during writing and drawing. The amount of white matter connections between Broca's area and the ventral premotor cortex will be quantified using probabilistic tractography in FSL.
