Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: preterm infant

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Significant congenital malformation or congenital infection, Maternal temperature in labour of 38°C or more.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Rectal temperature taken on arrival in the NICU.

MeasureTime frame
bronchopulmonary dysplasia at 36 weeks of gestation, incidence of air leak, incidence of IVH, mortality before discharge from hospital.
