Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Was or was not emotionaly or physically abused in childhood by parents - Families existing of minimally 2 grandparents, 2 children with partners, and 4 grandchildren

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - No good understanding of the Dutch language - Physical or mental impairments that limits one's participation

Severity of abuse (being abused or abusive behavior) within the 3 generations and the role of stress and emotion regulation in this behavior.

MeasureTime frame
The quality of relations between generations and between partners, and brain structure and activity.
