Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The effects of full spectrum and blue reduced light during a simulated night shift will be investigated for: the degree of melatonin suppression, skin temperature, self ratings of sleepiness, alertness, and performance. A dim light control will be used. The results on melatonin suppression will be compared within each individual for the degree of phase shift in fibroblast peripheral oscillators. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Prior light history will be analysed as a covariable to explain individual differences in response to light at night. | — |
