Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Unilateral transtibial or transfemoral adult amputees irrespective of age, sex or cause of the amputation who are able to function with and without a permanent prosthesis independently, if necessary making use of a walking aid. Normal mental faculties.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Use of a wheelchair for moving inside the house for more than three hours a day, not being able to wear the prosthesis for at least 8 hours a day in all, bilateral amputees, amputees other than at transtibial or transfemoral level. Participants with severe cognitive disorders, severe loss of eyesight (not able to recognize or connect the measurement equipment), with neurological and clinical orthopedic problems (other than the amputation), with stump pain, stump wounds and foot pathology that could influence their daily activities.
