Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status I-II Aged 18-75 years Elective arthroscopic knee surgery in day-case setting
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with: Cardiac disease Pulmonary disease Diabetes mellitus BMI > 35 kg/m2 Peripheral neuropathy Contra-indications for regional or general anesthesia Chronic analgesia therapy Not fasted from drinks or food > 6 houres before anesthesia

| Secundary study outcomes are preparation times of the anesthetic technique, during times of operation and recovery. Patient, surgical and anesthesiological satisfaction also will be measured. Conditions of anesthetic techniques will be measured with accurate tests. | — |

| Primary study outcome is time to home discharge of the patient. Patients are treated in a ambulatory day-care centre. When patients are ready for discharge from the recoveryroom, they are also ready for discharge from the hospital and are allowed to go home. | — |
