18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Selected for CEA based on (symptomatic or asymptomatic) carotid stenosis (>70%) • Participation in Athero-Express study • Adults and of sound mind

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients with a physical handicap (immobility) • Patients without informed consent • Allergic reaction to gadolinium in the past • Impaired renal function (severe renal insufficiency, GFR
