Inclusion criteria: All children who were screened for the Asterisk or Obeliks study. These childen all had recurrent respiratory symptoms at preschool age (1-5 yrs). (page 6 of the protocol)

In order to determine the predictive value of the diagnostic questionnaire (and lung function and allergy testing) by means of the ISAAC questionnaire and data on healthcare use (from GP or pharmacy) information will be collected to ascertain whether or not the children have asthma at school age.	—
