Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients with a diagnosis of *first episode psychosis* suggestive for the diagnosis schizophrenia are eligible to participate in the study. Age between 18 and 40 years. Patients may be inpatients or outpatients. Appearance of first symptoms not longer than 3 years ago.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Any other psychiatric or neurological diseases. Use of hard drugs as cocaine or heroin. Alcohol addiction. Subjects will also be excluded when they cannot understand the Dutch language sufficiently to understand the purposes and implications of the experiment.
