Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Anxiety disorders: Generalized anxiety, separation anxiety, panic disorder, social phobia, school phobia and anxiety disorders NOS. - Mood disorders: Depression, dysthymic disorder and depressive disorder NOS. - Co-morbidity: ADHD, personality disorders and or conduct disorders combined with mentioned anxiety and mood disorders. The adolescents are referred because of their anxiety and mood disorders. - 12 - 18 years of age. - Outpatient treatment. * One contact during a week is sufficient. - IQ of at least 80.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Substance abuse/ substance dependence. - Psychotic disorders and pervasive developmental disorders - Suicidal. - start with medication.

| Realize a decline of the anxiety and mood complaints measured by the total scores of disorder specific instruments (Beck Depression Inventory II, BDI II, and Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders-Revised, SCARED-R). | Psychiatric disorders in adolescents are charaterized by high rates of co-morbidity. The study will therefore include a wide range of complaints as secondary study parameters. The secondary parameters will be obtained from the respondents as well as from the parents. The respondents will fill in the Youth Self Report (YSR) and the parents the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL). The aim of the secondary parameters is to check if there is also a decline of these complaints due to the intervention. Realize improvement of dimensions emotional stability, and experience of peer relations of the self concept and self-esteem (Self-Description Questionnaire II, SDQ II (Marsh, 1992)). | — |
