18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Male and female older than 18 years, with evidence of a chronic HBV infection - Indication for antiviral therapy of chronic HBV accorind to current clinical guidelines - Written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Other causes of liver disease/co-infections - Other significant comorbidities - Presence of contra-indications for antiviral therapy with tenofovir
