Age
18 Years to 99 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All consecutive patients of 18 years and older in the University Hospital Maastricht with a positive blood culture, including mentally incapacitated patients if their legal representatives signed informed consent for participation in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: A positive blood culture in the previous three days
