| More insight will be given to the underlying pathobiology of memory impairment (mainly hippocampus and thalamus) in MS. This will increase our understanding of memory dysfunction and will hopefully improve the prediction regarding patients* cognitive profiles in the clinic. The primary study parameters of this study will be: 1) Differences between brain activation patterns in healthy controls compared to MS patients during a memory- and attention task. What is the role of functional reorganization. 2) The relation between functional measurements (brain activation patterns during a memory- and attention task) and structural measurements (DTI) will be described. 3) The relation between structural and functional neuroimaging results will be related to the clinical performance of patients on memory- and attention tasks. | — |
