Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Age: > 18 years -Cochlear implantation -Residual hearing at 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -Middle ear pathology -Severe cochlear malformations, cochlear nerve pathology (implantation is impossible) -pregnancy (because of radiation during a CT-scan) -Age:

| Aim of the study: To clarify the connection between the post-operative hearing outcomes and the intracochlear electrode position. Study parameters: -Relation between word-recognition and insertion depth -Relation between insertion depth and the number of electrodes in the scala vestibuli -Relation between word-recognition and the number of electrodes in the scala vestibuli or the scala tympani -Relation between T-levels and the number of elekctrodes in the scala vestibuli or scala tympani. | — |
