Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - candidate for living donor kidney transplantation - minimun age 18 years - minumum of 10 weeks prior to transplantation - abble to walk 50 meters without help - good understandig of the dutch language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - co-morbidities (e.g. amputation) that make exercise training impossible - high cardiovascular risk profile

postoperative recovery (hospitalisation, readmissions), physical functioning measured with: six-minute walking-distance (functional exercise capacity), MicroFet (peripheral muscle strength), Chair stand test (functional quadriceps muscle strength), FSS (fatigue), and quality of life measured with the SF-36.
