18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients have to fulfil the modified New York criteria for AS or bilateral sacroiliitis with bone marrow oedema on MRI. Patients have to be 18 years of age or older.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No informed consent. Legal incapacity.

Measure	Time frame
Bone regulating and bone turnover markers, bone mineral density, disease activity, physical function, quality of life, inflammation of the entheses and inflammation of the peripheral joints. HLA-B27 and in the future possibly other AS-related genetic factors.	—
