Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Radiologic diagnosis on plain radiograph of a fracture of the trochanteric region - Age above 18 year - Informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Fracture with subtrochanteric extension - Age

MeasureTime frame
1) To comparison of the inter-observer agreement for classification of trochanteric fractures using plain radiographs and CT-scans. 2) The additional value of CT-scan for the classification and corresponding treatment plan of trochanteric femur fractures.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The characteristics of the trochanteric region, that can be reliably assessed with the CT-scan.
