Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with major depressive disorder with at least three previous depressive episodes. Patients have been treated with a therapeutic dose of antidepressant medication over the last 6 months. Patients are currently either in full or partial remission.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Bipolar disorder Any primary psychotic disorder Clinically relevant neurological or other somatic illness Current alcohol or drug misuse Use of high dosage of benzodiazepines (>2 mg lorazepam equivalents daily) Recent Electro Convulsive Therapy
