Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: aged > 70 years, elective surgical cancer treatment, under general anesthesia, give written inforemd consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients requiring emergency surgical management within 24 hours unable to give written informed consent
