18 Years to 99 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - An age of 55 years and over; - The presence of clinical relevant depressive and/or anxiety symptoms; - The willingness to autobiographical reflect oneself to find meaning and worth in life.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - The presence of a DSM-IV major depressive disorder - The absence of depressive symptoms - The presence of a DSM-IV generalized anxiety disorder - The absence of anxiety symptoms - Being actively treated elsewhere (with medication or psychotherapy) when registered - Any condition that may prevent people from successful participation in the preventive group (like unable to function in a group or a crisis situation)
