Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Camp group: children (ages 8-17) with burns, attending burn camp in 2008 and/or 2009, sufficient Dutch proficiency. Control group: children (ages 8-17) with burns, not attending burn camp, sufficient Dutch proficiency.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Insufficient Dutch proficiency.

Design outcomes

Primary

Measure	Time frame
We will report how children (and their parents) experience the Dutch pediatric burn camps. Next to it, we will investigate how self-esteem, body image and dealing with social situations may change as a result of attending pediatric burn camp.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
We will explore which factors are correlated with the possible effect of attending pediatric burn camp.	—
