Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Subjects with a >70% carotid artery stenosis who are scheduled for carotid endarterectomy. -Age 18 years or older

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients with acute coronary syndrome or clinically unstable ischaemic cardiac disease. -Patients with right-to-left shunts, severe pulmonary hypertension, uncontrolled systemic hypertension, and adult respiratory distress syndrome. -Pregnant and lactating women -Patients with documented allergy to contrast media or a renal clearance
