Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Previously participated as healthy control in MEC 06/144 and 1. Healthy 2. Caucasoid 3. No history of CVD 4. No family history positive for CVD
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergy for Aspirin or Simvastatin 2. Liverfunction disorders 3. CPK above three times upper normal limit. 4. Renal impairment 5. For ascal use: a. Gastric i. pain or complaints with former use ii. bleeding or perforations b. Ulcers in stomach, esophagus or bowels. c. Serious heart failure d. Hypotrombinemia e. History of cerebrovascularbleeding f. Use of other anticoagulation 6. For statin use: Use of other medication which inhibit CYP345 ie. Ketoconazol, itraconazol, HIV-protease inhibitors, erytromycine, claritromycine, telitromycine, nefazodon 7. Consumption of excessive amounts of alcohol defined as 21 units/week 8. Hypothyreodism 9. Familiar muscle disorders
