Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients > 18 years of age who are treated with induced hypothermia after non-traumatic circulatory arrest

| NSE level which can be used as a good predictor (false positive rate van 0%) for a poor outcome in patients with postanoxic coma who are treated with hypothermia. Neurological outcome will be assessed after one week, one month and six months. Outcomes will be documented using the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS). Poor outcome will be defined as death, vegetative state, or severe disability (GOS scores 1-3) six months after CPR. | — |
