18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Maculopathy unchanged for a minimum of three months and progression within the next 3-4 weeks is unlikely.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Additional eye disease (eg. amblyopie) or medication (eg anxiolytica or anti-epileptica) that could affect reading performance, (Suspected) dyslexia / illiteracy.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To analyze the test-retest and inter-chart reliability of the three charts of the Radner reading chart with respect to reading acuity, maximum reading speed and critical print size.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
If the Radner reading chart reveals to have a low reliability in this study population, new sentences have to be composed, tested and selected.
