Periodontitis patients, diagnosed with chronic periodontitis, not having experienced a subgingival cleaning/debridement at least one year before baseline of the study. | The cascade of certain wound healing parameters, biomarkers and cytokines will be described for the early wound healing by measuring levels and changes of IL-1beta, Interleukin-8, IL-1 alpha receptor antagonist, MMP8 and its tissue inhibitor TIMP-1 over a 3 months period. | — |
