Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: operable N2/N3 squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck planned treatment of chemoradiation (with curative intent)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Difference in accuracy of MRI and PET between 2 and 3 months after treatment. Prognostic value of change in FDG-uptake between PET pretreatment and 2 weeks after start of chemoradiotherapy.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Observer agreement, costeffectiveness modelling of a PET strategy (including morbidity, quality of life).
