Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: AF persisting for at least 6 months accepted for cardiothoracic surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of class I or class III anti arrhythmic drugs for less than 5 half lives previous to the procedure Previous cardiothoracic surgery Age >80 years and
