Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: indication for cardiac surgery planned medial sternotomy high risk for post-operative infection signed informed consent by patient
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: emergency surgery active endocarditis pre-exsisting infection/use of antibiotics age beneath 18 years
