Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: In order to be eligible to participate in this study, a subject must meet all of the following criteria: - Age > 16. - Subjects would need to perform at least on a national level.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A potential subject who meets any of the following criteria will be excluded from participation in this study: - If the subject wears an internal electrical device (like Internal Automatic Defibrillator, pacemaker) - If the subject wears a neurostimulator. - If the subject required hospitalisation for illness 6 weeks prior to testing.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary Objective: Cluster analysis of the following exercise parameters at different times of exercise: - Thoracic expansion (as measured with respiratory inductance plethysmography) - Abdominal expansion (as measured with respiratory inductance plethysmography) - Thoracic expansion / Abdominal expansion ratio - V’E(l/min) (breathing frequency * tidal breathing) - Maximum oxygen uptake (ml/kg/min)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary Objective(s): - Maximum heart rate - Maximum CO2 washout - Aerobic threshold - Anaerobic threshold
