Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Age =18 years at the start of the study • Patient living in the pilot area (physiotherapist, GP or RP) of NPRL 2.0 • Having musculoskeletal pain of with a high risk to become chronic (CMP). • Willingness to improve functioning despite pain • Adequate Dutch literacy to complete the assessments (which mainly comprise questionnaires)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Any suspicion of a medical (orthopaedic, rheumatic or neurological) disease, which can explain the current pain complaints (eg. Rheumatism and hernia) and which can be threatened by a sufficient therapy • Any suspicion of an (underlying) psychiatric disease, for which psychiatric treatment is better suited, according to the expert opinion of the GP and RP • Pregnancy

MeasureTime frame
Quadruple Aim: quality of life of patients with CMP, experienced quality of care rated by the patients, experienced work load and satisfaction by the healthcare professionals, changes in the societal costs of the participating patients with CMP
