Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Minimum age: 5; 2. Maximum age: 16; 3. Expected time of residence in the Netherlands is at least one year, and there are no plans to leave the country; 4. Meeting the 'classical' definition of child maltreatment (including physical or emotional abuse, sexual abuse, physical or emotional neglect; 5. One child per family. In case a report includes more than one child, the child with the highest concern will be asked to partcipate; 6. Sufficient verbal and cognitive capacities to participate in a study which requires an oral interview.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants not meeting the aforementioned criteria.
