Excision biopsy of a small piece of the radial artery during operation.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Chronic renal failure and requirement of an arteriovenous fistula; 2. Age 18 years or older; 3. Informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age < 18 years; 2. Placement of vascular access prosthesis; 3. Unable to sign written informed consent.
