Conditions

Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF)

Interventions

This is single-center, cross-sectional validation study. Patients who meet the in- and exclusion criteria and who are willing to participate, will visit Máxima MC once for study related measurements.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with HFrEF, regardless of etiology 2. Receiving optimal medical treatment for heart failure 3. Age = 16 years 4. Able to speak and read the Dutch language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Permanent atrial heart rhythm disturbances 2. Hemodynamic significant valvular disease 3. Cardiac ischemia or chest pain when performing submaximal exercise 4. Neurological, orthopedic or peripheral vascular conditions preventing the patient from exercising

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
