Psychological aspects of bariatric surgery in morbid obesity, self-regulation capacity, compliance, success (weight loss, quality of life, satisfaction). No interventions are object of the study. The study is an obervational study, using self-report questionnaires.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Every adult patient (minimal age of 18 years) in Atrium MC who will be admitted to a bariatric surgery procedure in pursuance of the clinical selection procedure and has given permission for participating in the study after informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Not be master of the Dutch language 2. Mentally deficient
