Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary goal of this research is to investigate the effect of a cognitive remediation therapy (Circuits), combined with Individual Placement and Support (IPS), compared with an active control condition (playing computer games), on number of hours participated in regular employment or education in people with early psychosis, measured from baseline to 18 months follow up. As primary outcome measure for participation, “the number of hours worked in regular jobs or education” are used.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To study the effect of a cognitive remediation therapy (Circuits) combined with Individual placement and Support (IPS), on: - functioning in regular employment or education in people with early psychosis (satisfaction, wages earned, hindering factors) - cognitive functioning: memory, attention and executive functions (performance on cognitive tasks and subjective experience) - self-stigma (ISMI) and empowerment (NEL) - positive and negatieve symptoms (PANSS) Onderzoeken wat de effecten zijn van een programma voor cognitieve vaardigheidstraining (Circuits), aangeboden in combinatie met Individual Placement and Support (IPS) op: - functioneren in reguliere arbeid of opleiding (oa tevredenheid, salaris verdiend, verzuim, belemmerende factoren) - cognitieve vaardigheden: geheugen, aandacht en executieve functies (prestatie op cognitieve testen en subjectieve beleving) - Zelf-stigma (ISMI) en empowerment (NEL) - Positieve en negatieve symptomen (PANSS)
