Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: HealthyLIFE is a combined lifestyle intervention for overweight adults (BMI 25-30) and a (moderate) increased risk of CVRM or DM2, or with obesity (BMI> 30), whether or not in combination with one or more chronic limitations (eg COPD, Osteoarthritis, mild dementia). Also, the participants must have a health insurance policy at the Dutch health insurance companies CZ, VGZ Zilveren Kruis or one of their subsidiaries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A lack of motivation to participate into the intervention or having medical problem(s).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
objectively measured BMI, self-reported quality of life (Poisitive health IPH), and biomedical data (Hb1AC, blood pressure, and fasting glucose). objectively measured physical tests.

The quality of motivation for physical activity and for diet, physical activity level, dietary behaviours, personality, cognitive determinants, and process measures (number of participants and drop-out).
