In this RCT we compare the performances of two groups of insurance physicians on their assessments of work disability of claimants with a depression. The intervention group will receive a specific training in using the Protocol Depression (Intensive Care), while the other group only has received the usual care (UC).The claimants in this study are NOT REAL PATIENTS. Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Practising insurance physicians, or practising insurance physicians in training; 2. Experience in assessing work disability under terms of the Dutch disability benefits acts.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Insurance physicians who are not practising under terms of the Dutch disability benefits acts.

1. Quality of the insurance physiacians' reports of their assessments of work disability of a claimant (actor!) with a depression; 2. Protocol adherence of the insurance physicians.

Spread in the lists of functional abilities between the two groups of insurance physicians.
