Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - patients who underwent surgery for pelvic organ prolapse between 2003 and 2009. - and have taken part in earlier follow-up research in the former Orbis Medical Center in Sittard

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - death - not being able to fill in questionnaires.

Occurrence of a subjective recurrence of POP (subjective recurrence was defined as feeling or seeing a bulge from the vagina)	—

- Reintervention (physiotherapy because of POP symptoms, a pessary or a re-operation) - Complaints studied were related to micturition, defecation and the influence of symptoms on the daily functioning of the patient, regardless of the occurrence of a possible recurrent POP	—
