Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chronic servere aortic stenosis for which aortic valve replacement is applied. Echographic assessment within 1 month after AVR and at leas 6 months after AVR

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - hypokinetich or akinetic cardiac wall segments due to a myocardiol infarction in the past. - co-existing mitral, pulmonic or tricuspid valve disease
