Inclusion criteria: - Male or female > 18 years old - Living kidney donor - Baseline kidney function: eGFR > 60 mL/min - Able and willing to provide informed consent

•PENK plasma concentration prior to and following kidney donation compared to the kinetics of tubular injury markers •Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) and TIMP-2*IGFBP7 (Nephrocheck) and functional markers (creatinine and cystatin C plasma concentrations)

• Association between PENK and estimated GFR (using serum creatinine and cystatin C) following kidney donation • Association between PENK and endogenous creatinine clearance after donating kidney. • Association between peak PENK and creatinine concentrations
