Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - patients after cardiac arrest - age of 18 or older - continuous EEG monitoring with at least 8 electrodes started within 24h post-resuscitation - Targeted temperatur management treatment as per hospital protocol

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Known history of another medical condition with life expectancy <6 months - Any progressive brain illness, such as a brain tumor or neurodegenerative disease Pre-admission - Modified Rankin Scale of 4 or lower - Reason other than neurological condition to withdraw treatment - Follow-up impossible due to logistic reasons - Severe head injury
