Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Open-acces upper gastrointestinal endoscopies performed between 1/1/2013 and 31/12/2016 in the Canisius-Wilhelmina Hospital, Nijmegen, VieCuri Medical Centre, Venlo, and Jeroen Bosch Hospital, 's Hertogenbosch

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Surveillance or follow-up endoscopies - Endoscopy in patients with known gastrointestinal malignancy - Endoscopy in patients with known anatomical abnormality - Emergency endoscopies (performed within 24 hours after referral)
